Background and Experience

Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Sarni began her practice at the law firm of Spector & Cohen, LLP. Ms. Sarni’s practice included insurance coverage and tort litigation defense, specifically in the areas of construction defect, personal injury and premises liability. In 1999, Ms. Sarni joined the law firm of Campion, Rodolff, Van Riper & Procopio, LLP, where she represented clients in premises liability and products liability defense matters.

In November 2001, Ms. Sarni joined the Law Offices of Adrienne D. Cohen, reuniting with Ms. Cohen with whom she previously practiced. Her practice includes all aspects of general liability defense, including construction, personal injury and commercial litigation. Ms. Sarni has had the privilege of representing insurance carriers and the California Insurance Guarantee Association in first-party coverage and defense matters, as well as policyholders in third-party claims litigation. She has significant experience defending high-exposure, personal injury and construction cases. She regularly conducts California Insurance Regulations training for claims adjusters and counsels carriers on best practices for claims resolution in California.

Ms. Sarni is a member of the California State Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association (including the Insurance Law Section), Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity and the William P. Gray Legion Lex Inn of Court. In March 2009, Ms. Sarni became a principal at the firm and enjoys her role in mentoring new associates and in client development. Ms. Sarni has also been a panel speaker for the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel’s Annual Construction Defect Seminar.

Ms. Sarni has served on the Administrative Board for the Fullerton Chapter of National Charity League, and regularly volunteers for Meals on Wheels of Fullerton, Inc. and Rosary Academy’s Parent Council.
