Daniel Ishu received his J.D. from Western State College of Law. During his first year of law school, Mr. Ishu worked as a law clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office where he assisted attorneys in preparing for trials involving homicide and other violent crimes. Mr. Ishu also gained experience working as a law clerk in employment law and personal injury law. During his final year of law school, Mr. Ishu served on the editorial committee of Western State’s Law Review. Mr. Ishu wrote and published a Law Review article discussing the Eighth Amendment’s “Cruel and Unusual Punishments” clause and related case law. Mr Ishu also wrote notes on issues involving firearms, such as federal “Red Flag Laws.”
Mr. Ishu joined the Law Offices of Adrienne D. Cohen as an associate in May 2021. His practice includes insurance defense.
